Participation fees

Listed fees are for a standard 8-week exhibition period. Additional weeks may be booked for an extra 10% per week. A nonrefundable 20% down payment is due upon execution of the Loan Agreement; 40% is due 90 days prior to the opening date or one year after the execution of the Loan Agreement, whichever is sooner; and the final 40% is due by the opening date. If needed, extended payment terms may be arranged with a nominal financing charge. Institutions that commit to three of our shows are entitled to two extra weeks per show, gratis.

Shipping and insurance

Unless otherwise arranged, art2art will make all shipping arrangements. Venue to pay for round-trip climatized shipping except if the show has consecutive bookings, in which case consecutive venues share the cost of the venue-to-venue shipping leg. Venues to provide a certificate of insurance (all-risk) including the shipping, or else to purchase insurance through art2art.

Space requirements

The linear feet given are estimates only, and are calculated as roughly twice the total horizontal length of the framed pieces (excluding glass cases etc.).

Lighting, temperature and humidity

All Loan Agreements are subject to an acceptable facilities report. Lighting, temperature and humidity readings must be per AAM conservation standards and must be monitored regularly. No works may be hung in direct sunlight or within the convection area of a heating unit. Additional requirements may in certain cases be imposed by lenders. Venues to prepare incoming and outgoing condition reports on each piece.

Signage

art2art to provide individual object label text as a Microsoft Word document, and wall panel text as either Microsoft Word or QuarkXpress. For a modest charge, art2art will fabricate the panels and labels to the venue's specifications.

Publicity

120 days prior to the opening date, art2art will provide venues with a sample press release as well as publicity photographs for the show.
